i think when i'm feeling down i can write v weird stuff ha. This was written two years ago by the way and i tot it rhythms when i read it earlier.. ha i shall write in chinese more often next time.. archive (2): Mooncake making!

Every year i asked my mum to teach me how to make mooncakes because she had previously went to a course to learn how.. but she simply refused! say ma fan.. ha so this year, i just bought floor and ingredients to keep trying.. wanted to eat nice durian mooncakes. After two failed attempts my mooncake turn super chio at the third ha, the first two saw a skin that was hard and inedible..

on the third try, i added steamed hong kong floor to my bing pi and it make the skin really smooth and soft.. even my mum love them! she ate like super lot ha..

in total i make probably more than 50 lotus ones, 30 durians and 20 yam?

Recipe:

Snow Skin Recipe:

Icing sugar 120g
Kou Fen 90g
Hong Kong Flour 90g, steam 25 mins
Shortening 60g
Cold water 160ml
Colouring

Baked Recipe:

Hong Kong Flour 600g
Syrup 300g
Groundnut oil/Corn oil: 150g
Alkaline water: 2 teaspoon
Egg for brushing( egg yolk, small amount of egg white, oil, syrup)

Mix everything except egg and leave dough for 30 mins.
Wrap mooncake, brush with egg and bake for 25 mins at 180 deg cel

archive (1): cblc flood

for the first time ever in my cblc years, i encountered a flood during my duty! Yih cblc was flooded with rain water coming from the hills on the top through the doors to the computers. The cleaner and oed personnel told us that leaves blocked the drainage behind so rain water couldn't be effectively channeled to the canal below.. so ta da.. the heroines of cblc spent one hour plus mopping da floor...

the post of sadness

just wanna say i'm sad:

1) my eyecandy totally disappeared this sem from my visual plane.. everyone have seen him except me.
2) he closed his blog! as in change to invited readers only.. double sadness. (to prevent tiko bu like me from reading it's a good attempt)
3) no pics no news no motivation = my triple sadness

Week 2 has passed..

Two weeks of school has passed!! What an alarming rate... its like 14 days down, 1/2 a month, 1/6 of your sem plus some $500 bucks of your $3000 tuition fee eaten before you know it. And its crap i can't really remember what i was doing the past two weeks.. and that's bad news cos it basically means every day of my life is spent so similarly they don't make a difference. True ar, study duty den go yih study and nua.

but on a side note, i seem to be accomplishing more stuff den i did in previous sem.. usually first two weeks are warm up time ha. And i'm happy i've seem to be having all things on track, freedom of self in school! Gambatte, hope this sem good good.

the next few weeks will be busy. Agms, agms, budget claims, stepping down.. projects projects.. better grab tightly to time before it runs out..

Conquered Items

books of few i read this holiday, first book on the right i spend a week reading because starting was slow and mainly descriptive. It's almost a wonder how i finish it reading on board transports only. Book 2 was faster, 3/4 of the book i finished on long bus trips to places like sim lim where i upgraded my laptop ram and due shopping trips. Book 3 i finish amidst the weekend and on duty. 3 days for the last two books. They're probably the last few fiction books i would have touch till term end. Still haven gotten my hand on Harry Potter Book 7.. Meanwhile i've two more boring books to go, handling adobe flash.

They're sure tough to understand...

The virus coming~

not long ago i was down for a full week, poisoned stomach, fever and a bad headache. i ate plainly for the week, always soup and porridge till i felt better to eat other stuff.

but after a week filled with attempts of me eating jap/western/pasta/waffles/tom yum noodles,

i'm sick again!! sigh, sore throat's here to stay and i fear the impending arrival of my bad migraines.

now i'm back to eating porridges everyday because it's starting to hurt. Haiya, why like that.. queen of food is now restricted to only porridges..

nvm, at least i still can eat sushi. wahahhah.

shall strive to restore health to 200%. be happy ;)

My genting trips photos!

i know they're way long overdue ha but i had to collect from my frens ma... anyway it was tons of fun! Glad we're a bunch of on-kias who decided on trying everything since we're already there. We played all the rides and flying coaster, tried Air Venture (simulated sky diving!! super fun), archery, simulated range, played arcade (won some toys), watched a movie, ate lots of hao liao, went shopping and toured the casinos! I can't stand the smoke inside.. but its really cool to see people winning money by the tons ha.

da week's recap : Wii! / The mushy love letter

hah have been spending my last week of holiday admist work and play too, took off on tuesday last week and brought jodie to da vet for her check up.. gotta watch her diet because she appears to have allergy to chicken.. quite usual for dogs her breed. On thursday national day, went with da usual sentosa gang to sentosa, suji andy eugene alvin cenying desmond chuhui.. but this time with a special guest~ ha mr nvp's date left him with nth to do on the day so he decided to join the sentosa-ers for a day of sand and sun. We ended up playing captain's ball on da beach and sweating like crazy.. after that was burger king and swensens at holland v! man, we damn happening. On that very day we make plans next day friday go andy house play Wii!!

so on friday, i happily work work work until at like 9pm plus plus (ot ar bo bian) den went over andy house meet eugene chuhui and yiwei play wii haha.. super fun eh!!! i played boxing, golf, tennis and some soccer thing haha.. next time go play more.. sat and sun were spent giving tuition and doing duty.

and my darling tutee Mr ego vain potty Roydon Shong bought me a present!! and a super mushy card i nearly died reading on the bus because he wouldn't allow me to read in front of him. Much reasons for getting me the present was really because i bought him a ex wallet to replace the one he lost some time ago. (the lost wallet was a birthday gift i gave him)

Having worked for a super long three months, it's high time i reward myself by clearing da wishlist!! ( i also reward myself with a holiday, cac camp and tons of gai gai-ing after work ha)

last week was a breeze because i was so preoccupied with work and going out almost everyday with serena chyi and other frens. Even my dearest shambaa akc!! but basically i'm not one who goes around taking photo of all my outings i don't seem to find much to post yet ha. But i shall go get the photos from my fren of those we took in hooters to post here! the babes and chicken wings are hot. ;)

I'm going Genting!! (22nd - 24th July)

Ok, it's not exactly a fantastic place to go but it's just a break from the sunny island from plain cheap 78 bucks for 3 days 2 nights at first world hotel!! With breakfast too! =) and with a bunch of fun-loving friends we'll make the trips tons of fun.. after all it will be my first trip there when i'm legal enough to visit the casino ha. Who knows i might come back a millionaire(in ringgit ahhaha).

But anyways, while i was waiting for my turn to make a booking at the tour agency i saw this package to Redang via Superstar Virgo.

its everything i wan in a trip!! haha the sun the sea the food the glam and comfy superstar virgo bunks.. it's such a blessing to wake up and see the sea. Most importantly there's all the food i love on board virgo! Actually for all superstar their food is fantastic.. i like them all..

for those interested the gist of the whole trip is that, you will take a overnight coach up to Redang, spend 2 nights there and den you will board Superstar virgo back to Singapore.

the trip will include: 2 buffet breakfast, 2 buffet lunch, 1 buffet dinner and 1 buffet bbq dinner for Redang. 3 free snorkeling trips (!!!!!) One night cruise back to Singapore via Superstar Virgo with food? The total cost's bout $450 for 4 person going together, and $500 for two person for this 5n4D trip.. hai so attractive, me wanna go more holiday!! but no moola and no one to go with ahaha.. sad.

Cac Camp Paradiso 07

okok, got people complaining i nv put DIFFERENT photos haha.. camp one quite bad ma.. i couldn't decide i look more burnt or drunk in the photos ha.. so red.. and i never drink!! anyway, this year group 5 bag the best OG title back.. hah after all that drama in the previous year this year was a peaceful one. You've got dedicated councilors like us to thank for, esp got me and alvin old bird around haha.. we're fossils gonna be.. joining eugene they all.. how sad! ahhah

but eventually the reason we bag the title this year is becos of the batch of ever enthu and er 自甘堕落 guy freshies haha.. they dun need much motivation from us councilors before they 自high themselves.. you should have seen them do their ever famous "yandao, chiobu chao ah gua" and the other guys only r21 cheer.. we councilors really applaud them for their courage to display their sexuality in public. *clap clap* hah but they were really v entertaining...

councilors ourselves were kinda influenced haha by the 自high syndrome.. so one night at like 4am after the freshies were done with their dance routine and all went back to sleep. Councilors all of us we stayed in AS7 to annoy the rest of the ogs by the suddenly v popular game. TUKI TUKI TUKI, Mmmm Chi Chi, Tong KA Tong KA game haha... i nearly died from stomach cramps.

and one of my freshie sarah is so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahhah when she got drunk she kept saying this line.

"when i say i'm not drunk i'm really not drunk!! haha i just cannot walk straight.." *proceed to collapse onto the floor* while the already dead tired councilors drag her up to her feet again she repeats the entire cycle hahahaa

I watched transformers!! and i think its damn nice haha maybe cos i've never seen the original cartoon or stuff so to me now is wah wah and wah.. ha both me and my sis thinks bumble bee is damn cute.. cos of the music he plays when sam's with the girls.. and there's really this super funny part when all the autobots were hiding from the parents hahaha.. so cute!!

it has being so long it surprises me that he actually appeared in my dream again last night.. this one was a little special because he was wearing his number 4! gosh, how amazing that is because i don't even have a chance to see him wear that in person.. in my dream he was walking to my direction along a stretch along some block of flats, i was with some friends and obviously clowning around becos i rem jumping onto the pavement and saw him on my right walking towards me.. but as if i was invisible he walk a few more steps and turn down on another stretch of pavement..

i gave chase, eager to see where he went.. i found him.. carrying a dark bag, his number 4 half tucked, back facing me, climbing up the stairs to his place.. slowing disappearing..

fright night and east coast cycling~

fright night trial last night was quite fun.. there seemed to be something going on bout me and bloody mary.. but on the whole it ended pretty fast ha.. i only had some cheap thrill for the night before sharing cab with wei xi and his cute sister home ha..

originally planned for half day leave today to take break and go out with mr nvp's frens who asked me to go cycling at east coast.. since office politics is getting from bad to worse these days missing half day more doesn't make a difference.. but morning raining and me sleepy ha.. so took the whole day off instead.. den afternoon meet them at bp for lunch before heading over to east coast..

what i must say is mr nvp and his fren fei mao has interesting frens ha.. like wei jie who has a big 'ang kong' or tattoo they call it and really is the typical ah beng teachers hate at school haha.. he was telling me how he talked to his teachers last time and how they will disturb relief teachers like me ha.. quite an eye opener becos when you know him better you know he's not a bad guy.. but just someone who really detests studying.. he scored a hefty 37 points for o levels ha. 5 subjects eh. never pass any ha.. i was like ?!@?!?! the other three frens were really quiet and i can't even remember their name....

mr nvp was great at crapping so managed to get the uncle to offer us the bike till close shop for 10 bucks.. 4 plus hours for us to waste.. so er, we just cycle and cycle.. but becos of some drama baby like fei mao, we were damn tired after 3 plus hours ha.. that fei mao bluff me mr nvp and wei jie that he kanna comb at some back alley and his wallet and bag all gone.. been kind pple three of us believed and cycled some half hour to find him(reasons to believe was: we sent him off alone to find out whether mac was raining, second: he got kiam pa face that apparently got him beaten up some time ago by a malay) ha so when he revealed he was kidding the three of us jokingly cycled off at great speed pretend angry.. but we really too shag.. cycle here and there.. so we faster return bike and went for dinner at parkway.. settled for the foodcourt where we each took our pick..

den home sweet home!! fully recharged for the negative ions at work tml.. i hope camp comes soon ha.. time to have some fun with shambaa and ferrets =)))

went for my facial appointment to remove some of the moles on my face~ becos i previously had an agreement with the beauty consultant on the price and how much will be removed.. but today they sort of went back on their word and i din really get what i wan for the price.. couldn't really blame the consultant.. she has a nasty boss.. and i din wanna make her job hard.. so there, i guess i've to make another trip somewhere for the unfinished work..

hah and that put me at my wits end.. dunno how to reply.. but i did not end later than usual today becos that silly boy hadn't had lunch at a time like 2.30 so there, since we're both hungry ghosts we ended the session after 2 hr and 15 mins

and i decided to pop by my fav hangout place for my fav horlicks ice cream waffle as lunch.. Before i went over, i send a message to mr nvP to ask if he's working.. i'm a lucky girl today so ya guess it. On my way there, i was waiting to cross the road to uob along thomson and after crossing i received a call from mr good fren~ hah

"good fren what you doing at thomson??"

"ha how you know, you eating prata saw me crossing road ar, later i go find you lor"

its the time of the year... i'm in the sink in bottom can't seem to get myself up mood... so i'm here to vent at this space.. this empty space for myself..

and i dunno why i've this rock bottom feelin again, i'm supposed to be damn hao mai till any big thing happens i'll just shrug it off.. but somehow i'll just get affected by certain stuff.. i dunno why you tell me things at the point when i've no ways to salvage it.. because telling me now that blah blah might have been bearing an unknown animosity will only make me hslx and wonder what i did wrong..

blog post diarhoea (3) - CAC+US Production, the play with no sleep lotsa fun and failed tests

CAC+US is a combined subclub production produced by all the 6 sub clubs except lindy hop who had other committment.. As wenyong had said, it was a great idea put in place but junhao the project director along with anqi and calin.. The first night was good though we had some prob with curtain calls but the second night made it up with a huge blast. Great performance, great audience response and a fantastic curtain call. It was the end! Mixture of feelings i guess.. no more projects! ha have been really busy with cac stuff this sem.. so much so that i'm having trouble completing all my assignments and codes on time..couldn't have felt more stressed and failing a stats test during cactus was the second blow.. its time to study..

But still, it was great fun being with everyone during preparation.. you don't get much chance to bond with so many clubs at the same time! and being a makeup helper i get to satisfy some of the performer's vainest wish ha.. guys gals equal! and main comm had a lot of bonding time admist all these.. we're one small faRmily! ha alright shall let the photos do the talking!

blog post diarhoea (2) - the poor NVP's downfall + CAC+US pre preformance mishap

On the night before we set up CAC+US props, Monday night, mishap befall our dear Mr Chao Shuai and Mr National Valuable Player(NVP).. One nearly got me and li jun killed earlier in the night by banging our rented lorry straight into a divider.. but alas still felt bad cos we might have cause him to divide attention while driving.. accidents seem to be frequent in NUS.. i wonder why.. the other smsed me a few hours later saying that his knee gave way earlier in a game and was in a dire state of having to make his way to the polyclinic alone the next day.. his frens were all at a chalet which he was supposed to go that v night.. being an extremely nice person i couldn't throw someone to die so after forsaking sleep for the entire night talking crap and doing make up for each other in cac room i left school at 7am to reach woodlands polyclinic at 8am (don't ask me why he wan to see doc so early ha, kiasuism might explain stuff..)

after some frantic rush cum futile attempt to try lending a wheelchair from public clinics around, we ended up relying on his giordano umbrella to work as his crutches.. i wasn't much help for a 1.88m tall 70+k? guy.. to think while we walk there his umbrella nearly gave way! it bent lor.. next time know cannot buy giordano umbrella..

after we got there i rush to get a wheelchair and began my job as wheelchair nurse ha.. lucky him got tagged as urgent patient so we din have to wait a long time.. machiam every stop also cut queue.. see doc, x ray, see doc.. but v fun while he x ray i talk to some uncle in hokkien haha, k la got improve a bit.. den at some point he v bored start to visualise he's handicapped bball player play with his wheel chair =.=

at last at bout 11 i had to leave cos i had a presentation at 12 plus one.. so no choice left mr nvp alone at the clinic.. but he got better at the back.. his mum was there too for a while cos she had to work.. it turn out to be some minicus tear? bio students will know better.. no bball for alot alot months!!

blog post diarhoea (1) - the long overdue singing-cum dancing performance by dars tutee

ha some one month ago, my v vain and lazy tutee asked me to go watch him and his younger sister perform at ang mo kio hub.. think it was for a community fruits day so there's performance to entertain all for the day.

so after tution in the morning i fetch the two kids from their home to the singing place for make up and rehearsal(their parents was busy but there were there later) and tada! a huge group of ladies which i believe to be teachers or helpers began fussing over Charis for make up ha

becoming of a pretty girl!!

and because it was darling roydon's birthday the next day i left the two kids busy in the comfort of all the teachers and went to the new amk hub to shop for his prezzie.. he wanted a billabong blue wallet but there wasn't billabong around! so no choice, got him a OP brown wallet instead.. the blue one was simply gayish haha.. den went back in time to catch some pre performance warm-up..

i so wanted to blog!!! the photos that has been lying in my phone for super long has finally managed to make their way into my laptop and now they're so very stuck there. it's been a week after cactus and i'm into a period of deadlines crashing.. i've been sleeping v little, losing alot of hair from 2261 such and so that my little aunt commented that i've v deep dark rings today..

once this week is over i swear i'll flood these place with updates on my tutee's performance, the stayovers cum accidents, cactus, the bballer's mishap and scooby doo's appearance.

I've a new hangout place~~ which is also yong jun's workplace aka his cousin's shop ha..

ha the shop's in full white and pink deco.. kind of girly but not that bad. I life all the small little sofa at each corner of the shop ha v nice to snuggle in with a cup of ice cream..

and a extra bonus! the shop has access to wireless at sg! ha so its v possible that you camp in there and spend the whole afternoon doing work.. the crowd starts coming in slightly later..

did i mention that there are lots of local favour ice creams? haha teh tarik, milo dino, chempedak, earl grey, green tea with red bean, durian, and my favorite horlicks!

not forgetting my favorite crispy waffles with mapple syrup ha

i recovered my blog!! yeah but i left most of the post back there in 86.. lazy to port them over ar.. revived the blog becos me ser and chyi's started another blog to update each other bout our lives in nus nus and taiwan.. so it kinda spark off some er interest? for me to blog again..
